Tunggu Aku di Jakarta

The tune to Indonesia's pop icon Sheila on 7 plays in the back of our heads as we link arms with creative director Gil Chandra and chase the city that never sleeps. This campaign is our love letter to Jakarta beyond the skyline: the steam from street cart vendors, the plastic stools, the soft chaos of Blok M where nights blur into morning and style is personal.

We wanted the pulse, the essence of Jakarta, not the postcard.

From vendors to city parks, from neon to rain, Gil threads it all together—the jokes between friends, the coffee while people watching, the street musicians playing over the hum of traffic.

The Shoot

We chased golden hour into midnight through Blok M. We weren't chasing postcard angles, we were chasing the essence of Jakarta. We moved with the city: footbridges, parks, vendors, street musicians.

Gil knows this part of Jakarta intimately, and the perfect locations seem to pop out like a blessing. He frames micro moments...of crowds, of music, of chatter & friendly exchanges...and let's the city live through the lens.

Jakarta, as told by someone who speaks it fluently—then turns up the volume.
