This skirt wasn't made for subtlety.
FABRIC 100% cotton. Batik Tulis from Cirebon, West Java. Hand-drawn, waxed, dyed and dried — repeated multiple times. One skirt takes months to complete. No two are exactly alike. That's not a flaw.
FIT True to size. Draped wrap, side split, zipped back. Midi length. True to size. Wear it with a white tee and sandals and it does all the talking. Wear it with a simple black top and it does all the talking. The yellow does what it wants regardless.
PHILOSOPHY "Anggrek" means orchid. The climbing floral motif of winding orchids is a traditional Batik design from Cirebon, symbolising beauty, love and harmony with nature. The border at the hem is characteristic of Cirebon Batik, a region whose textile identity has been shaped by centuries of cultural exchange between Javanese, Chinese and Islamic artistic traditions. Each element hand-drawn, waxed, dyed.

Wash on gentle cycle at 30 degrees
Use a gentle detergent
Wash items with similar colors to prevent dye transfer
Hang items or lay them flat to dry. Avoid direct sunlight as it could cause fading.
Iron on low heat, but we recommend a steamer if possible, to remove any wrinkles.
DON'T
Avoid bleach or other harsh chemicals as these can weaken the fabric and cause discolouration.
Avoid high heat in washing, drying and ironing as these can damage the fabric.
