PHILOSOPHY "Mawar" means rose in Javanese. The large climbing rose at the centre is a motif with deep roots in Javanese Batik — floral patterns have historically represented beauty, love and harmony with nature, drawn by hand onto cloth that takes months to complete. The coral, red and dusty rose tones against the dark ground aren't printed. They're waxed, dyed and built up layer by layer by a single artisan. What you're looking at took a very long time. It shows.

Wash on gentle cycle at 30 degrees
Use a gentle detergent
Wash items with similar colors to prevent dye transfer
Hang items or lay them flat to dry. Avoid direct sunlight as it could cause fading.
Iron on low heat, but we recommend a steamer if possible, to remove any wrinkles.
DON'T
Avoid bleach or other harsh chemicals as these can weaken the fabric and cause discolouration.
Avoid high heat in washing, drying and ironing as these can damage the fabric.
