FABRIC Lightweight, breathable and absorbent...it makes sense in summer. Made in Solo, Central Java using a combined tie-dye and tritik technique: stones tied into the cloth, submerged in dye, dried, then every dot painted individually by hand. Two to three artisans per cloth. If you look closely, you can still see the pencil marks where they mapped out the pattern before they began.

FIT Smocked bardot with a flutter frill at the neckline and a relaxed flare below. Wear it off both shoulders, slide it to one, or pull it up into a scoop neck. Three tops in one. Size down if you want it fitted through the smocking, true to size for something easier.

PATTERN The Jumputan is known across Indonesia as the "rainbow textile". It is a cloth made together by the community. The motifs are inspired by cosmic geometry: the balance between people, nature, and the sky. In Palembang, the patterns are drawn from the stars. In Solo, where this cloth was made, two to three artisans work the same piece — tying, dyeing, drying, painting — sharing stories the whole way through. The result is a cloth that carries the energy of the people who made it.
